Hi there, my name is Alix Barry! I'm a Waterford-based lifestyle photographer with a lifelong love for capturing moments that tell a story. For me, photography is more than just pictures, it’s a way to freeze those fleeting, precious seconds so they can be treasured for generations.


I’m a wife to Dean and mam to two gorgeous little boys, and they’re the heartbeat behind everything I do. They inspire me every single day to notice the small details, the quiet smiles, and the bursts of joy that make life so beautiful.


Whether I’m photographing the laughter of a family celebration or the quiet warmth of a close connection, my focus is always on genuine emotions and authentic stories. Being a mom of 2, I totally get how important it is to capture all the little things, like their tiny fingers and toes, and the fun personality of your toddler. Those small moments are super special and go by so quickly. When I take photos, my goal is to capture those sweet times, so you can always look back and remember the joy and innocence of your kids. I know those little details are a big part of being a parent, and I'm here to create pictures that hold onto the magic of those precious moments.
